The Observable Compute Foundation operates a zero-telemetry architecture. We do not deploy tracking scripts, cookies, or latent data-harvesting mechanisms. Server logs are purged dynamically and are retained solely for DDOS mitigation and basic traffic analytics (GA4 measurement).
The Information Gradient
Our commitment to privacy aligns with our mandate to flatten the Knowledge Gradient. Extractive data practices inherently steepen this gradient, centralizing user data within opaque systems. We reject this paradigm. Visitors navigate our repository anonymously.
